Each Sunday Service is an opportunity to learn about Unitarian Universalism.
There is a lot of information available on the main UU sites referenced off the Useful Links page.
Education for Adults has been incorporated into our Sunday services and our home gatherings. Part of the service format includes a sermon or address followed by discussion. These discussions often continue or carry over into the lunch/social hour.
Children are welcome at our services and if you provide sufficient advance notice we may be able to arrange a childminder to come along so you can listen to the service undisturbed. The more notice we have the better.
Our format for the childrens program changes from time to time to align with the ages of children attending. We endeavour to be flexible and as accommodating as possible to the needs of all our children and youth.
Children generally begin the service with the adults (including lighting the chalice, sharing joys/concerns and time for all ages) then leave with an adult leader for their program or care (about 45 min.) in a nearby room. Any children or youth who wish to remain in the service rather than attend the childrens program are always welcome to stay.
